Cloud Assessment – The first step towards responsible management

The right migration strategy

If the application is not yet running in Azure, we investigate how to get your software there as quickly and (cost-)efficiently as possible. We do this using analytical insights from our partner YieldDD. Together, we determine the right migration strategy:

• Lift & shift (rehosting) – moving your application and data to Azure without redesign.
• Refactor – adjusting the application to better fit the Azure environment.
• Rearchitect – splitting the application into components that are improved and migrated separately.
• Rebuild – fully rebuilding the application by one of our development teams.

We explain the pros and cons of each scenario and provide advice that fits the quality, ambitions, and expected lifespan of your application.
