In the onboarding phase, we align environments, processes, and collaboration to ensure your application can be managed securely, predictably, and with consistent quality.

What to expect

Before we can actively manage and maintain your application, we go through a joint onboarding phase. This phase focuses on knowledge transfer, inventory, and carefully setting up the right environments and processes. We agree on communication, responsibilities, and quality assurance, so you know exactly what to expect.

During onboarding, we ensure that our approach, your software, and your development processes are fully aligned.

Inventory and setup

At the start, we collect all available information about the application and its environment. If a Cloud Assessment was previously conducted, we include those findings.

We ask you to provide, where available, the following:

  • Code and test database
  • Functional and technical documentation
  • System architecture
  • Developer and deployment manuals
  • FAQs, change history, and known issues
  • Licenses
  • Anonymisation scripts
  • Access to acceptance and production environments

Based on this input, we set up the core processes and tooling, such as OTAP environments and the service desk and support portal. This is followed by further knowledge transfer in functional and technical sessions. Any knowledge gaps are added to the backlog as maintenance tasks or improvement items. Planning and budgeting are coordinated with you.

Continuous measurement and control

From the start, we aim to make processes transparent, measurable, and manageable in collaboration with your organization. That’s why we give extra attention to the following aspects:

  • Automation: OTAP environments, CI/CD, build and deployment automation, integrated DevOps tooling
  • Collaboration and communication: transparent, reliable, and constructive
  • Measurement and analysis: identifying bottlenecks and improvements, extensive reporting and analysis features
  • Monitoring: advanced automated tests (incl. stress tests), performance monitoring, code and application monitoring, incident prevention and automated improvement
  • Audit trail: full visibility into work logs, incidents, releases, and security

These processes aren’t monitored just once but continuously. They are systematically measured, analyzed, and verified.

Ideally, we work together towards processes that run smoothly and predictably, with a focus on refinement and continuous improvement.

We define KPIs and objectives tailored to your organization and application. Then we actively monitor and report on those goals, so you benefit from proactive management, ongoing optimization, and an application that remains in top condition.
