Bicep Deep Dive
Learn how to use Bicep to efficiently manage and deploy Azure resources. In this knowledge session, you’ll discover how Microsoft’s infrastructure-as-code language helps keep your Azure landscape organized, scalable, and consistent.
Efficient Azure management with Bicep
Bicep is Microsoft’s declarative language for Azure Resource Manager (ARM). It helps you manage infrastructure as code in a clear and reusable way. In this session, you'll learn how to use Bicep to create, update, and scale Azure resources across different environments.
We’ll cover how to deploy Bicep templates via Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions and how to break down complex infrastructure into modules that can be reused across projects and teams. This enables consistent, efficient work and better control over your Azure environment.
You’ll also learn how to use user-defined types and functions and how to extend Bicep – for example, by deploying via Microsoft Graph. Finally, we’ll show you how to verify deployment outcomes and ensure your infrastructure matches the intended design.
After this session, you’ll know how to use Bicep effectively to build a scalable, modular, and reliable Azure environment.
