From theory to practice in DevOps monitoring
Most teams are familiar with the DevOps lifecycle, but successfully implementing continuous monitoring remains a challenge. Yet that’s exactly where the key lies to mature DevOps processes.
In this session, you’ll learn how to set up monitoring in a structured way using Azure’s tools. We’ll show how to collect data with Azure Monitor and Azure Sentinel and how to turn that data into actionable insights using smart alerts (triggers).
You’ll also learn how to use Action Groups and Azure Functions to automatically create or update items on an Azure DevOps board (or other ALM tools). In addition, we’ll cover customization with KQL for tailored queries and the creation of Power BI dashboards that provide real-time feedback on your monitoring data.
After this session, you’ll know how to leverage Azure to truly realize the ‘C’ in Continuous Monitoring – with insight, control, and immediate feedback within your development process.
