65. Decentralized identities in Azure
In this Betatalks episode, Gerben and Rick talk about identities and specifically decentralized identities in Azure. We all have many logins on all kinds of websites, called identities. These identities are owned and controlled by the websites you log in to. This means, that the website can shut down or lose your identity because it is all controlled information. This is a problem, so we need a solution. The solution is decentralized identities, in which you as a person are the central object of identity; you are the owner of your own information. We will give you a demo of how decentralized identities work, we will look into the technical implementations and how this works with authenticator applications and validation.
